Where does your mind go while you are not actively hitting a golf shot? Are you thinking about how many bad golf shots you hit? Are you thinking about how you already can't shoot your best score and it is only the 4th hole?
Does it help reinforce positivity and happiness? Does it allow you to play your best golf, consistently?
There are so many things that can grab your attention on the golf course. How are we supposed to filter what information we time in and what information we ignore? For starters, I'm going to keep preaching it, there are only so many things that we can control. Let's dive into a few basic things we can focus on other than our "golf swing".
The words that are used in the pre-shot routine need to state exactly the result that you want to achieve. This needs to be accomplished with absolutely zero doubt. The concept is extremely simple when broken down.
After hearing or thinking a positive thought, one has the ability to fire themselves up. This is a byproduct of giving yourself a reason to believe. You have to become the Earl Woods in making yourself motivated and smiling.
