Welcome

Golf Wright is going to focus on the Wright way to play the game. I will break down the basics of playing Wright and also find multiple ways to take my tendencies and apply them to your own enjoyment of the game.

Now let’s get into the juicy stuff. What exactly is Golf Wright?

Fun Fact: according to the GHIN Handicap System, 1 out of every 7 golfers consistently plays to their full ability.

Within this program, we will identify:

- Ability to transfer swing from driving range to golf course
- Ability to not allow a golf shot to have an affect on our personal happiness
- How to prioritize what is important per moment (golf shot)
- How to get the most out of your game
- How to get out of your own way

GolfWright is designed to allow you to maximize your potential on any given day. The process is setup to make you get out of your own way while still producing good golf shots. Most importantly, finding happiness every step along the way. I am offering an approach to the game that is guaranteed to improve your average scores, without actually improving your golf swing. We are going to instill a process so deep that even on your worst days you will find success.  You are officially a part of a community of individuals who all strive for happiness on the golf course. From here, I will teach you how your mindset on the first tee is no different than your mindset on Monday at the office. The quality of golf you play correlates directly towards your happiness and mental wellbeing off the golf course.

Let's get it!
Routine vs Discipline
Before we start, I think that it is imperative that we identify our strengths. This is important because when the moment is biggest, we need to know and believe in our abilities. I have created a questionnaire that will help you pin point your strengths.
Identifying Strengths

Below you are going to find the only swing advice in GolfWright. I believe that if you focus on these 4 swing fundamentals, and apply with the correct mental state (the real reason you are here), any person can play their best golf.
4 Swing Fundamentals

Laugh

There is a reason that “LAUGH” is my number 1. I believe that no matter how bad you played, how bad the conditions (course, weather, etc), you got paired up with the worst player in the world, any negative situation you can think of and there should still be a minimum of 18 smiles/laughs within that round. The number posted at the end of your round is simply a byproduct of how much peace and enjoyment you are having while playing the game. Take this, a baby, with no teeth, not even old enough to know it’s alive, has the ability to smile. A smile in its most pure form is the simplest of actions. Dogs even have the ability to smile. Yet, all you see is disappointment, anger, frustration, embarrassment and the list could go on forever. If somebody gave you the ability to get rid of all these emotions within your round, you would. AND I AM! A smile is greater than any one of these emotions. You just have to mean it.
